Glisten

Everytime I drive the 210 freeway to work, I pass this gorgeous place.  Satruday was 70 degrees with a nice breeze and too beautiful to stay home, so we hopped in the car and finally checked out HANSEN DAM.  This is the place when you want to be near the water, take a walk in the woods, and see some wild life.  I can't believe this treasure is in my own backyard and I didn't know how beautiful it was til Saturday!

Filming occurs quite often in Montrose, but we were thrilled when an episode of House was filmed with our store being converted to appear as a French Bistro!

Tomatoes are getting more plentiful and gowing fast!  I'm so happy these are growing in November!

Favorite top

I just love every detail on this one!  The colors are fantastic, the material is super soft, and the cut is extremely flattering!  Oh, and the balloon sleeve is so trendy!  We already had to re-order this for our store.  I've been coming home with something new twice a week, everyday we get shipments and I really have to practice self control to stop me from getting one of everything!  Below is my second favorite top, the Swarovski Crystal Thermal, it has a split cuff adorned with an encased swarovski crystal on the sleeve.  Made in the USA and the manufacturer guarantees the crystals for the life of the top.  Their address is on the label, and if one should come off, you simply mail it to them, and they will replace the crystal.  I have a few of their items, but have yet to loose any crystals!  That's quality!  I also love the new layered trends in the scarves this year!

Hat

These Trendy hats are hard to come by.  My son wanted one last winter but everywhere we went they were sold out!  I found this one at a small shop when I went to Camp Maranatha in September!  I loved the fact they lined it with fleece.  The long flaps will be great to keep him warm when he snowboards and snow mobiles!

Christmas Window

We had so much fun getting ready for our Christmas Open House!  This was our third year.  We serve Dessert & Champagne and this is the first display of all our Christmas items.  I had planned to take dozens of pictures, but we had such a great turn out I only had time to take a few!  Thanks to all who attended and make this such a blessing, and thanks to those who helped pull the party off!

My husband and my son's girlfriend Faby went shopping for a birthday gift for my son David.  David has been working out of town for 2 months, and this is the first birthday out of 27!!! that we did not spend together.  The mall was decked with Christmas decorations and even playing Christmas music already.  We are looking forward to David coming home so we can finally celebrate his birthday!
